How Our Design Process Works
Initial Phone Consultation
- This is where we provide you with a free estimate and set up an on-site meeting.
Photo Inspiration / Obtain Survey
- It is encouraged you share photographs of landscape designs that appeal to you. We can replicate the style and preferences in the overall layout.
- In order to deliver a precise estimate for your landscape design, Strommen Landscape Architecture requests a copy of the latest property survey.
On-site Meeting / Site Analysis
- We begin with a comprehensive meeting at your property to gain insight into your preferences, lifestyle requirements, and aesthetic desires.
- After our discussion, a site analysis will be performed which includes photographs, sketches, and measurements of any missing dimensions not included on the survey.
Design Proposal
- The overall costs associated with the design will be outlined, taking into account the scope of work and the duration required to complete the design process from start to finish.
Concept Design
- Strommen Landscape Architecture will then craft a concept design that embodies your vision while incorporating functional and regulatory aspects. We strive to present a concept that combines innovation with functionality, elevating the visual appeal of your property.
Revisions
- During this phase, you are invited to ask questions related to the design layout and to suggest any pertinent changes.
Design Finalization
- We will deliver a revised finalized CAD and/or hand rendered design, accompanied by a plant list that outlines the chosen species, their quantities, and suggested sizes for acquisition. All plants will be specifically chosen to thrive in your yard. The hardscape materials and various other features we design will be seamlessly integrated. Dimensions can be scaled off the drawing for pricing.
- You are now fully equipped and ready to proceed with the installation of your backyard retreat.
